1966 Rhein Main Rockets Football team

I played under Coach Dave Leggett in 1966 and was surprised to discover this website. Equally surprised to see that the USAF continued football for all these years. I have some game programs I saved from several games and two photos taken back then. As I recall, the team tied for second place that year, losing to Weisbaden in the final game. They ended with one loss that year while the Rockets had 2 losses (if my memory serves me correctly). I (and 2 teammates, Carlos Lee and Gary Kemling) were not stationed at Rhein Main AB, we were in Darmstadt, Gerrmany and Jim Magee used to come down in the small school bus to pick us up for practice and on game day. It was about a 30 minute ride up the autoban to Rhein Main. I left the USAF in 1967 but still have fond memories of playing ball.
